1. Information We Collect

We keep this deliberately minimal. Here's exactly what happens when you use this site:

• Visit counter: Your browser stores a simple count of your own visits to this site, using your browser's local storage. This number is specific to your device and browser only — we don't see it, collect it, or combine it with anyone else's data. Clearing your browser data resets it.
• Contact and submission links: Every "Advertise," "Share Your Voice," "Apply," and similar link on this site opens your own email app with a pre-filled message. We only receive what you choose to send us in that email — we do not collect anything through a server-side form.
• Standard web server logs: Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider (Freehostia) may automatically log basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and page requested) for security and operational purposes. We do not actively access, analyze, or use these logs for tracking individual visitors.

We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking. We do not currently run any third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts. If this changes in the future (for example, if we add Google Analytics), this policy will be updated first, and we'll note it clearly here.

2. How We Use Information

The very limited information described above is used only to:

• Respond to emails you send us through the site's contact links
• Keep the site technically running and secure
• Understand rough, anonymous visit patterns to improve the site over time

We do not sell, rent, or share any visitor information with third parties for marketing purposes. We have nothing to sell — we don't collect enough to make that possible even if we wanted to.

Because we collect so little information in the first place, there is very little to secure. What data does exist (such as basic server logs) is protected through our hosting provider's standard security practices. No online transmission or storage method is ever 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but our approach of minimizing what we collect is itself a meaningful security measure.

• You can clear your browser's local storage at any time to reset the visit counter described above
• You are never required to send us an email or provide any personal information to browse this site
• If you've previously emailed us and want that correspondence deleted from our records, contact us and we'll honor that request

8. Changes to This Policy

If we change how this site handles information — for example, adding analytics or a real advertising network with its own tracking — we will update this page and revise the effective date above. We encourage checking back periodically.
