Announced in Islamabad on International Youth Day, the policy sets a 35% women’s workforce quota, a 10% startup quota for young entrepreneurs, and expanded AI/IT training — with 700,000 laptops already distributed to students on merit, and 250,000 more Chromebooks planned this year.
The policy also includes a batch of 1,000 agriculture graduates sent to China for AI and IT training, and designates 2027 as the government’s “Year of Skills.”
